Developing from my previous mannequin head shoot and looking at the research from webpages such as ASOS, Etsy and Amazon, I knew that that aeons website need a cleaner cut image of the mask to show the product with no distraction. As the sample images I looked at from these website were shot in a studio to ensure high quality imagery and I did not have access to a studio I still wanted to try recreating the aesthetic at home .
For the backdrop I used an ironed white bedsheet held up over by a picture frame to create a clean studio aesthetic. Placing the mannequin head and bedsheet right in centre of a large window to grab as much natural light as possible (FIGURE 2). The natural light wasn't enough to create a crips even light to I shot a slow shutter speed of 2 second to allow the lease t flood in as much light as possible. The reflection shown in figure one was created using my laptop screen I had notices while scrolling through exiting website that many shots of mask used a reflection to bounce the image in a symmetrical manner, The images appeared clean and directed the viewers attention back to the product rather than out of Frame by the negative space.

Although these images are a step in the right direction for the first test shoot of the mock-up mask and they do showcase the mask deatail and fitment I do not feel they are as high quality as I've seen on other websites. Moving forward in the project I would hope the restrictions are lifted so that I can take the mannequin head with the final mask once created to photograph some high wilily professional images in the studio.
