While lockdown continues and our project for Aeon moves forward I need to shoot some content to use fo the advertising purposes e.g Instergram and Website. Using the mock up mask that Damarni the pattered cutter from the group had made I used my siblings to model.

With no access to studios, I set up a stripped back outdoor studio In my garden. Using the sun for light at golden hour (2.30pm). A white double bed sheet for a backdrop to keep the images clean.

Model are my younger brother and sister- Kensie McCarthy and Jaydon O'kane. This is very much my usual style of shooting while sticking to the brief discussed within the group to produce simple images for the advertisement of the mask created.

Behind the scene shot of the shoot to display the set up and simplicity.

The cool tones enriched in the photographs scream winter and the face mask more than ever is more important in winter. Flue virus kill people every year and the corona virus on top is dangerous especially to our elder comunity.

Models age is 17, the beginning bracket of our target audience. Although the mask doesn't fit now this mask is only a prototype. I wanted to shoot the mask at this stage to show the levels of production and progress within the group. The pattern cutter Damarni will have access to these photo to look at the mask and move the design forward looking at the share style and sizing.
