MATHEW FINN- DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHER

Mathew Fin a British photographer who curated a project called 'MOTHER' that was published as a photo book. 'MOTHER' was a personal project around Finn and his mothers ever changing relationship set in their home in Leeds England. The images are from years of documenting Finn Mother witch was never intended to be be published as a outcome.

The creation of the work came from the absence of his farther in his and his mothers life. the lack of his farther presence 'haunts' (M,Finn, n.d. ) the photographs and this is why his mother and him created this collection of photographed into a project.

Photographing the everyday over years and year until his mother became sick and had to move into a care home before passing away.

MY EVERYDAY DOCUMENTARY

Using both digital and film I have began photographing around my home to explore the space in which mine and my dad relationship grew stronger since moving in with him in 2018. These photographs from figures 3-20 are over the last few month of exploring artist influence such as Mathew Finn and using influence from lectures and workshops each week to explore my project.

Many photographs are taken of things in out home from inside and outside with a few portraits of my self and my dad that we have taken of each other to get a feel of the camera being around the home so much. I don't want any of the everyday photographs to be stages and represent a faulse sense of our relationship.
